SOLAR SOLAR STORM COULD LEAVE THE LAND WITHOUT ELECTRICITY

A geomagnetic storm is a temporary disruption of the Earth's magnetosphere. Associated with a coronal mass ejection (CME ), a hole in the crown or a solar flare is a shock wave incoming solar wind between 24 and 36 hours after the event. This only happens if the shock wave travels toward Earth. The solar wind pressure on the magnetosphere will increase or decrease depending on solar activity. The solar wind pressure changes the electrical currents in the ionosphere. Magnetic storms last 24 to 48 hours but can last several days.

Solar Flare: takes only 8 minutes to reach earth. Electromagnetic radiation can disrupt communications. The rash expands solar atmosphere to reach the satellite orbits, altering their orbits and causing them to fall to the Earth's surface.

Radiation Storm: a bombardment of radiation that can burn electrical circuits and damage to exposed persons, even though the atmosphere and the magnetosphere acts as a shield to avoid such effects.

Coronal Mass Ejection (English CME ): This wave is more dangerous and damaging satellites All electrical transformers by passing electricity and communications across the globe. If you are facing north, it bounces off into the magnetosphere, if facing south, will cause a global catastrophe.

The land could run out as satellite communications would be affected, as well as electrical transformers, if there was a very intense solar flare.

worth noting that in 1859 produced the most powerful solar storm in recorded history.
interaction was more violent than has ever been recorded between solar activity and Earth. The action of solar wind on Earth in 1859 was by far the most intense on record. On August 28 appeared numerous sunspots, and from 28 August to 2 September declared many areas with flares.

On September 1 the sun gave a huge blaze, with an area of \u200b\u200blightning associated with it for a minute issued twice energy than usual. Only seventeen hours and forty minutes later, the ejection came to Earth with particles of very intense magnetic charge. The Earth's magnetic field is completely distorted and this allowed the entry of solar particles to the upper atmosphere where auroras caused extensive interruptions in the telegraph networks, which then was still very underdeveloped.
